Birol Refet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovanni Arruda made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Evandro Sá sent off a good shot on target. After 8 played minutes FIEL TUPÃ got a freekick which was hit by Omar Morera. FIEL TUPÃ's Geovanni Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FIEL TUPÃ from getting a goal against them. Rafinha Marques hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Barnaba Kajder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovanni Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Kajder in the 12th minute of the match. Olympique Deleon's Tiaguinho de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birol Refet in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Olympique Deleon's Joško Gvardiol got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tiaguinho de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Ekberg in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Ekberg in the 19th minute of play forced Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper Tiaguinho de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Ekberg in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Vivaldo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gennaro Gattuso hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Geovanni Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Kajder, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Olympique Deleon's Tiaguinho de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quico Sánchez in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Carioca in the 44th minute of play forced Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper Tiaguinho de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vivaldo Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cacá Carioca to make the kick off. Tiaguinho de Carvalho was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Cacá Carioca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cacá Carioca really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind FIEL TUPÃ's goalkeeper Geovanni Arruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geovanni Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Kajder in the 57th minute of the match. When Barnaba Kajder came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Olympique Deleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnaba Kajder couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Rafinha Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnaba Kajder might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovanni Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barnaba Kajder ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Barnaba Kajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olympique Deleon's Davi Cerezo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rafinha Marques in the 73 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as FIEL TUPÃ's Göran Ekberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiaguinho de Carvalho. That made the score 0-3 after 83 minutes of play. Davi Cerezo's late challenge caught a FIEL TUPÃ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davi Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. Olympique Deleon's Tiaguinho de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Ekberg in the 88th minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
