The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbson Messias during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Messias. After a rather tough play, Rockets's José Maria Fernandes got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes, Cambuquira FC's Quentín Cambuquira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilson de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cambuquira FC reached it. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gerson do Vale hit a great ball. The Cambuquira FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Cambuquira FC's Samuel Prestes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nilson de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Marcos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson de Amaral having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Cambuquira FC's Tibúrcio Cambuquira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marcos Santos hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Yaakov Cambuquira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Aleandro Cambuquira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson de Amaral. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleandro Cambuquira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tibúrcio Cambuquira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilvan Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Cambuquira FC's Aleandro Cambuquira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson de Amaral. Nilson de Amaral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After 58 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Gerson do Vale. 59 minutes into the match, Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Aleandro Cambuquira came free, but Nilson de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleandro Cambuquira kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Marcos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Tibúrcio Cambuquira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Aleandro Cambuquira took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson de Amaral. Nilson de Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. After some careless play in the Rockets defense, Tibúrcio Cambuquira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson de Amaral. The Rockets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson de Amaral should have stopped the shot. Olívio Duarte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nilson de Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Olívio Duarte slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 89th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Cambuquira FC's Tibúrcio Cambuquira made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Rockets fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cambuquira FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
