RIBEIRÃO's zone, Leopoldo Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Graf came out of the goal and Leopoldo Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Dito Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fellipe de Brito. Squall FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dito Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 46 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Animam came free, but Fellipe de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Edmundo Animam made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Squall FC's Fellipe de Brito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
