In the 7th minute, Ramón Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jr Familia Campos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Jr Familia Campos FC's Leo Crespo in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Russe Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. With splendid footwork Leo Crespo arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 12th minute. Jr Familia Campos FC's Marcelinho Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo de Amaral in the 17th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Leo Crespo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Russe Athletic's Eurico de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes Russe Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Valadares. Leo Crespo in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eurico de Godoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 31 minutes Russe Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Naldo Prado who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Dênis de Senna managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Leo Crespo had several of the Russe Athletic's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Eurico de Godoi as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Crespo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico de Godoi saved Russe Athletic from getting behind. Leo Crespo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Marcelinho Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Duarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho Rocha made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Glauco Valadares sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Russe Athletic getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Oswaldo Coutinho hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Russe Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Crespo came free, but Eurico de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glauco Valadares got free with Marcelinho Rocha in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramón Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eurico de Godoi having to make a save. Beto Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eurico de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Maranhense hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Jairo de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Cipriano Duarte could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Marcelinho Rocha however easily saved by the left post. Marcelinho Rocha made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cipriano Duarte sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 75 in the game by Glauco Valadares from a close distance when the talented Marcelinho Rocha managed to make a qualified save. Jr Familia Campos FC's players were relieved. When Leo Crespo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Jr Familia Campos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Crespo couldn't finish the play. Eurico de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Crespo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 minutes Russe Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Naldo Prado who took care of the corner kick. After 81 played minutes Jr Familia Campos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Velloso. Cipriano Duarte succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 84th playminute. Russe Athletic's Eurico de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Velloso in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Russe Athletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Naldo Prado was slow to take the kick. During this time Jr Familia Campos FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Naldo Prado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Russe Athletic's Eurico de Godoi did a great save. Leo Crespo charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Crespo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Russe Athletic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jr Familia Campos FC.
