Zé Roberto Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Brasil having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Hugo Lucian put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mané Brasil. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Roberto Moreno in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Alessandro Linares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 0-2 became the score in the 22nd minute when Hugo Lucian elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When David de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FS Baile De Monique's protests and gave David de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes FS Baile De Monique got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Kemen. 35 minutes into the match, FS Baile De Monique's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Lucian came free, but Mané Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute FS Baile De Monique were awarded a corner. Fernandinho Schmidt went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fernandinho Schmidt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alessandro Linares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 43rd minute of the match Caldebrazza got a corner. FS Baile De Monique's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dagoberto Mazza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gugu Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alessandro Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shi Yang Gang was the one to do the kick off. Pan Quan Chao kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FS Baile De Monique's Gugu Maranhense got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Caldebrazza's Roch Pliszka got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 minutes of play, FS Baile De Monique's Gugu Maranhense made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roch Pliszka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Caldebrazza's Hugo Lucian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mané Brasil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute Shi Yang Gang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, FS Baile De Monique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Yang Gang in the 70th minute of play forced Caldebrazza's goalkeeper Alessandro Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Caldebrazza's Hugo Lucian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mané Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Róbson Cearense struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mané Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldebrazza. Teodosio Kemen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Hugo Lucian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Brasil. FS Baile De Monique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Lucian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Zé Roberto Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mané Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Lucian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Geraldo Sousa sped through FS Baile De Monique's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mané Brasil. The FS Baile De Monique fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caldebrazza were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
