The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizão Benzema got free with 倪亮 in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Wictor Hagström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 倪亮 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 72nd minute, Raí Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Abraão had several of the Clube Regatas do Flamengo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed 倪亮 as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Abraão in the 84th minute of play forced Clube Regatas do Flamengo's goalkeeper 倪亮 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, 倪亮 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
