Alfredo Faria struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Percy Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GrandBulls. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Tomé Araújo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for José Vítor Carneiro to make any attempt to save it. When Tomé Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Scragbadun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomé Araújo couldn't finish the play. Tomé Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes, Adilson Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GrandBulls and the Scragbadun FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, GrandBulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Godoi to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Vítor Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Martti Kukkur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Vítor Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. José Vítor Carneiro was a little too slow when Tomé Araújo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Martti Kukkur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scragbadun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martti Kukkur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomé Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Tomé Araújo sped through GrandBulls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Vítor Carneiro. The crowd rose to their feet as Scragbadun FC's Tomé Araújo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Vítor Carneiro. That made the score 6-0 after 35 minutes of play. José Vítor Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martti Kukkur went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomé Araújo to make the kick off. José Vítor Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martti Kukkur in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Araújo in the 52nd minute of play forced GrandBulls's goalkeeper José Vítor Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Adilson Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 60 minutes, Alfredo Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GrandBulls and the Scragbadun FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Tomé Araújo sped through GrandBulls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Vítor Carneiro. Scragbadun FC's Dagoberto Ramalho was substituted for Waldemar Zachemski. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Dagoberto Ramalho put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Vítor Carneiro. If Reinaldo Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, GrandBulls's Magno Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percy Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tomé Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Vítor Carneiro was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, GrandBulls's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Araújo came free, but José Vítor Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GrandBulls's Rodrigo Arruda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Scragbadun FC's Martti Kukkur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Vítor Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. In the 87th minute, Tomé Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scragbadun FC's Dida Cavalcante was substituted for Tiaguinho Torres. In the 91st minute, Tomé Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scragbadun FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Scragbadun FC fully deserved thier win.
