After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Stergios Stefanoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldebrazza's supporters rose to their feet, but Stergios Stefanoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Stergios Stefanoulis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernardo Ferraz, passed just outside the right post. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hugo Lucian sped through Pontal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Ferraz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Amorim was the one to do the kick off.
