After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Tomé Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scragbadun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomé Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingvar Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cristian Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Triforce Super Soccer defense, Tomé Araújo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Salles. The Triforce Super Soccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Salles should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Triforce Super Soccer's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anísio de Alcântara was slow to take the kick. During this time Scragbadun FC's players had a chance to rest. Eduard Kovalchuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Paiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Luiz Paulo de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Percy Paiva. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martti Kukkur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scragbadun FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Triforce Super Soccer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anísio de Alcântara took the corner. Anísio de Alcântara made a great header on Scragbadun FC's corner, it was just that Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 34th minute Tomé Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Tomé Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Salles. Triforce Super Soccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Percy Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice in the 41st minute of play. Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Scragbadun FC from getting a goal against them. If Martti Kukkur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Tomé Araújo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Cristian Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scragbadun FC.
Cristian Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Araújo in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Martti Kukkur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scragbadun FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Luiz Paulo de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Triforce Super Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo de Lima couldn't finish the play. Triforce Super Soccer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Percy Paiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rd minute, Tomé Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If José Paulo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandrinho Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Triforce Super Soccer made a substitution. Zeca Magalhães replaced Jefferson Xavier. Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Scragbadun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Severo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 89th minute of play forced Scragbadun FC's goalkeeper Percy Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Triforce Super Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Scragbadun FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
