The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mané Brasil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 8 in the game by Shi Yang Gang from a close distance when the talented Cristian Salles managed to make a qualified save. Triforce Super Soccer's players were relieved. Mané Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Cristian Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Yang Gang. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by FS Baile De Monique's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice was slow to take the kick. During this time Triforce Super Soccer's players had a chance to rest. If José Paulo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Triforce Super Soccer's Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mané Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Yang Gang in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, José Paulo Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triforce Super Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but José Paulo Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Gernando Saldanha in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FS Baile De Monique's Fernandinho Schmidt. Mané Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Alcântara in the 41st minute of play forced FS Baile De Monique's goalkeeper Mané Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, FS Baile De Monique's goal looked a bit too open when Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice came free, but Mané Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Cristian Salles made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Yang Gang made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Triforce Super Soccer's zone, Gugu Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Salles came out of the goal and Gugu Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Mané Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triforce Super Soccer. A collision led to FS Baile De Monique getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. David de Sousa hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, FS Baile De Monique's Shi Yang Gang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Yang Gang, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, David de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo de Lima struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Mané Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triforce Super Soccer. The supporters of FS Baile De Monique booed when Triforce Super Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Brasil. FS Baile De Monique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Paulo de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 76th minute, Luiz Paulo de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shi Yang Gang took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Salles. Cristian Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sandrinho Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Brasil having to interfere. Triforce Super Soccer made a substitution. Zeca Magalhães replaced Gilberto da Mata. Mané Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 84th minute of play. If José Paulo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Triforce Super Soccer's Hudson Neto was substituted for Sandrinho Passos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Yang Gang in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Salles saved Triforce Super Soccer from getting behind. Triforce Super Soccer's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
