But to his dismay, Luís Paulo Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Eren Saygılı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magno Quadros's late challenge caught a S.C. Bakroger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magno Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. Magno Quadros hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eren Saygılı scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Vítor Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Vítor Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, S.C. Bakroger's Eren Saygılı made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Vítor Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eren Saygılı in the 44th minute of play. José Vítor Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. GrandBulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eren Saygılı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Eugênio Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Borges having to interfere. GrandBulls's José Vítor Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save GrandBulls from getting a goal against them. Luís Paulo Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Vítor Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. S.C. Bakroger's Eren Saygılı got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. S.C. Bakroger made a substitution. Snorre Nordahl replaced Flavinho Pinho. If Luís Paulo Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
