Ricardo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Amorim in the 20th minute of play. Pontal FC's Bernardo Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Donato in the 21st minute of play. Rui Corrêa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Bernardo Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Sena in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pontal FC defense, Oscar Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Ferraz. The Pontal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Ferraz should have stopped the shot. Pontal FC's Bernardo Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Sena in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Pontal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Montenegro came free, but Bernardo Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Sena made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Renato Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GURIZADA MEDONHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 57 minutes into the match, Renato Montenegro notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Pontal FC's Bernardo Ferraz. Bernardo Ferraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Oscar Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With a little luck, Pontal FC's Bernardo Ferraz got control of the ball when Oscar Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardo Ferraz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Sena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 87 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Frank Donato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GURIZADA MEDONHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-15. Bernardo Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Sena in the 97th minute of the match. GURIZADA MEDONHA played a much better game than Pontal FC and deserved their victory. The Pontal FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
