But to his dismay, Johnny Maradona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 11 minutes into the match, Pontal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Maradona came free, but Bernardo Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Shi Yang Gang made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pontal FC's Bernardo Ferraz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The FS Baile De Monique fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when FS Baile De Monique's Shi Yang Gang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Shi Yang Gang scored 0-5 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shi Yang Gang took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Ferraz. Bernardo Ferraz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Bernardo Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Yang Gang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Gugu Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Ferraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnny Maradona went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Bernardo Ferraz came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by FS Baile De Monique's Shi Yang Gang. But to his dismay, Shi Yang Gang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Shi Yang Gang managed to get in a good position for a shot. FS Baile De Monique's supporters rose to their feet, but Shi Yang Gang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Angelo Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

Pontal FC's Bernardo Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Pontal FC from getting a goal against them. After 63 minutes Pontal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernandinho Schmidt who took care of the corner kick. Gugu Maranhense was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 67th minute, Shi Yang Gang fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 68 minutes in the game, Gugu Maranhense fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernardo Ferraz having to interfere. Bernardo Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Yang Gang, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Shi Yang Gang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Ferraz. Pontal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shi Yang Gang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Bernardo Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Dias hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Shi Yang Gang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Bernardo Ferraz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Shi Yang Gang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Ferraz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pontal FC's Oséas Linhares got a free kick in the 85th minute. Gugu Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ferraz having to interfere. Johnny Maradona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bernardo Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 100 minutes in the game, Gugu Maranhense fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernardo Ferraz having to interfere. When the match was over FS Baile De Monique could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pontal FC throughout the match.
