Adelino Custódio made a great header on São Germano Paulista's corner, it was just that Verdão da Mogiana's Yanko Pirov managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 11th minute Hamílton Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanko Pirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Cardoso took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yanko Pirov. In the 43rd match minute, São Germano Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Custódio to maneuver through the defense. Yanko Pirov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 80 minutes into the game, São Germano Paulista's Adelino Custódio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanko Pirov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Ruy Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Bezerra in the 84th minute of the match. São Germano Paulista's Ruy Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Ackerman in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Verdão da Mogiana's goalkeeper Yanko Pirov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Custódio. The Verdão da Mogiana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching São Germano Paulista's performance. The match ended with a win for São Germano Paulista.
