The Rio das Ostras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Tinoco should have stopped the shot. Rio das Ostras FC:s Artur Tinoco showed great skill when he stopped Ulisses Vaz:s penalty. Erasmo Santana scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Tinoco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Predador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Santana in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Tinoco saved Rio das Ostras FC from getting behind. After the first half Predador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Artur Tinoco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Erasmo Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erasmo Santana succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Artur Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Santana in the 60th minute of play. With his leg Artur Tinoco managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Predador's Waldemar Cardozo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the game, Waldemar Cardozo lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Artur Tinoco. Erasmo Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Tinoco having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Christer Palmkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Cruz. Predador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christer Palmkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Palmkvist in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldemar Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Artur Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Rio das Ostras FC's Gildo Botelho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gildo Botelho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rio das Ostras FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gildo Botelho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Predador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
