Imperial fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pato City's Ismael Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Bouzios in the 12th minute of play. Ismael Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Bouzios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Akis Bouzios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Alexander Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Alexander Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D. Imperial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Imperial booed when Pato City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Ramalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Aparecido when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Pato City defense, Alexander Smith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Aparecido. The Pato City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Aparecido should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Alexander Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akis Bouzios's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Ismael Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Smith in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Dadá Maravilha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Aparecido was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cícero de Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Antônio Ramalho notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Pato City's Ismael Aparecido. Ismael Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute, Alexander Smith ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Aparecido was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Ismael Aparecido came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Imperial's Antônio Ramalho. But to his dismay, Antônio Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Akis Bouzios took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Aparecido. Ismael Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Ismael Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Bouzios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Ramalho in the 72nd minute of play forced Pato City's goalkeeper Ismael Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Clemente Massa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Aparecido having to make a save. Alexander Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Aparecido having to interfere. In the 84th minute Akis Bouzios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Maravilha in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Pato City's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Ramalho came free, but Ismael Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Smith took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Aparecido. Ismael Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. A.D. Imperial's José Maria Pena was substituted for Antônio Ramalho. 96 minutes into the game, Dadá Maravilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Ismael Aparecido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A.D. Imperial walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
