An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Gaspar in the 43rd minute of play forced Pato City's goalkeeper Ismael Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Chaves do 8 FC got a corner. Pato City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The supporters of Chaves do 8 FC booed when Pato City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Joel Coimbra sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the game, Luís Guilherme Gaspar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Aparecido. Luís Guilherme Gaspar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Chaves do 8 FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
