With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efraín Bacete in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christiano Guimarães saved Motta Futebol Clube from getting behind. Motta Futebol Clube's Christiano Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Motta Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Motta Futebol Clube's zone, Alexandre Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Guimarães came out of the goal and Alexandre Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efraín Bacete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Christiano Guimarães made a huge save. Christiano Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efraín Bacete in the 15th minute. After 15 minutes, Efraín Bacete made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Motta Futebol Clube's Christiano Guimarães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Frutal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cosme Frichoso in the 27th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Dráuzio Paraíba advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Christiano Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Vides. In the 32nd minute, Efraín Bacete made a precise shot to the right of Christiano Guimarães. Motta Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 39th minute, Frutal FC's Alexandre Vides ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christiano Guimarães. Christiano Guimarães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. 42 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Paraíba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christiano Guimarães. Dráuzio Paraíba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. In the 46th minute, Efraín Bacete made a precise shot to the right of Christiano Guimarães. Motta Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlinhos Vidal to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Matías Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efraín Bacete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraín Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Ambjerg took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Guimarães. Christiano Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Ambjerg in the 65th minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Christiano Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christiano Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraín Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efraín Bacete in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christiano Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandre Vides struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Christiano Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frutal FC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Frutal FC had played much better football throughout.
