The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Sergios Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIMENTEL F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergios Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Frédson Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Sergios Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr da Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of NEWCASTLE booed when PIMENTEL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Silver Villems cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Walmyr da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walmyr da Silva was a little too slow when Sergios Ramos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-0. After 27 played minutes NEWCASTLE got a freekick which was hit by André Soeiro. With a little luck, NEWCASTLE's Walmyr da Silva got control of the ball when Sergios Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olívio Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Walmyr da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, PIMENTEL F.C.'s Silver Villems nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmyr da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. NEWCASTLE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Damaso Osmundo scored to the left of an out of position Walmyr da Silva, making the score, 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walmyr da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergios Ramos in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, PIMENTEL F.C.'s Sergios Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. If Silver Villems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the PIMENTEL F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
