Minaçu Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josué Camargo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Ruy Cambuquira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Rodriguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rodolfo Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Markel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cristiano Ronald's late challenge caught a East Tokyo United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Ronald helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Cristiano Ronald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Prestes from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Hílton Zonta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Ronald to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquin Markel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Rodriguez. That made the score 0-5 in the 87 minute of play. Amado Txindoki hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes, Minaçu Esporte Clube's Benedito Arruda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hílton Zonta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minaçu Esporte Clube reached it. Minaçu Esporte Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Joaquin Markel scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo Rodriguez, making the score, 0-6. East Tokyo United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
