Tostão Félix's late challenge caught a Helmet Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tostão Félix helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chuteira Santa F.C's Tostão Félix got a free kick in the 16th minute. Helmet Football Club's Jefferson Davila got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Délio Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Jefferson Davila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The coaching staff of Helmet Football Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nico de Salles had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 47th match minute, Helmet Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico de Salles to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walmyr de Barros to make the kick off. Tiago Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Félix in the 52nd minute of play. Reginaldo Simão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Augusto Freire went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 62ndth minute of the game Walmyr de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Helmet Football Club's Tiago Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Helmet Football Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Freire hit a great ball. Walmyr de Barros took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Dantas. Tiago Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 75th minute, Gilberto Diniz made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Dantas. Helmet Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Chuteira Santa F.C's Olavo Gaspar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raúl de Queirós, made in the 79th minute of the game. Tiago Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr de Barros in the 86th minute of play. Tostão Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Helmet Football Club's Hans McKnight got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Helmet Football Club getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Freire hit a great ball. Tostão Félix hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
