An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Bertassi in the 13th minute of play forced Minaçu Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Rodolfo Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Ronald in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 played minutes Hogwarts got a freekick which was hit by Sverre Svingen. Eder Milito's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Rodriguez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Minaçu Esporte Clube's Rodolfo Rodriguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Minaçu Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Claudinei Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Rodolfo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eder Milito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
