After having played for 28 minutes, Roger Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraguá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reginaldo Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Adriano in the 31st minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Roger Mesquita got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Luiz Adriano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reginaldo Simão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Luiz Adriano scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reginaldo Simão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes Jaraguá FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Mesquita. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Fabrício Cerezo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Reginaldo Simão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61st play minutes Luiz Adriano shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Reginaldo Simão and just under the crossbar into goal. Jano Arantes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Roger Mesquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaraguá FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Roger Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Reginaldo Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraguá FC. In the 89th match minute, Chuteira Santa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Galvão to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Denílson Silveira put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Chuteira Santa F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jaraguá FC:s goal.
