Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Roger Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Reginaldo Simão. Chuteira Santa F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 32 minutes into the game, Jaraguá FC's Luiz Adriano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reginaldo Simão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chuteira Santa F.C's goalkeeper Reginaldo Simão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chuteira Santa F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Chuteira Santa F.C's Reginaldo Simão got control of the ball when Luiz Adriano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 minutes, Marcos Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuteira Santa F.C and the Jaraguá FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Chuteira Santa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Galvão to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Chuteira Santa F.C defense, Valdir de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reginaldo Simão. Jaraguá FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
