After a rather tough play, Chuteira Santa F.C's Vivaldo de Moraes got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Valdomiro Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Chuteira Santa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Fontes came free, but Reginaldo Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chuteira Santa F.C's zone, Yuri Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginaldo Simão came out of the goal and Yuri Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Rômulo Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Yuri Dias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reginaldo Simão. The goal made the score 2-0. Rômulo Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rômulo Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. Rômulo Neto took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Barbosa. Ezequiel Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

Rômulo Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivaldo de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chuteira Santa F.C's Tostão Félix got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Reginaldo Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Wilson Paraibano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reginaldo Simão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Chuteira Santa F.C booed when Almirantes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Chuteira Santa F.C's Jano Arantes got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 84 minutes of play Chuteira Santa F.C's Tostão Félix was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Chuteira Santa F.C getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Breno Meira hit a great ball. Valdomiro Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rômulo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Chuteira Santa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rômulo Neto couldn't finish the play. After 98 played minutes Chuteira Santa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Breno Meira. There was no doubt that Almirantes F.C. were the better team. Almirantes F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
