Afonsinho da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eurico Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Afonsinho da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eurico Peixoto went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Celso Zanette made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eurico Peixoto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes Rajado got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Favoretto. Rajado's Afonsinho da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 55th minute of play. Egídio Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Rajado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonsinho da Mata having to make a save. Ibis Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rajado's Egídio Fernandes got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Eurico Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Eurico Peixoto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibis Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 72 minutes into the game, Eurico Peixoto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Afonsinho da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Rajado getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Erasmo Varela hit a great ball. Eurico Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonsinho da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney Tepedino went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Ibis Football Club were the better team. Ibis Football Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
