Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Zhen Kun in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dito Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermínio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Latorre, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A hard shot 37 in the game by Shi Zhen Kun from a close distance when the talented Dito Félix managed to make a qualified save. STEAUA BUCALESTI's players were relieved. In the 39th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored MAZER SAF's protests and gave Shi Zhen Kun a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Shi Zhen Kun got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

With a little luck, MAZER SAF's Hermínio Eger got control of the ball when Ricardo Latorre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alberto Guedes hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the game Aílton Paraíba made a throw-in which Paulo Renato Gonçalves played forward. The MAZER SAF fans cheered their team off the field, for while STEAUA BUCALESTI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
