In the 15th minute Han Yan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lei Hui Le took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Crescencio. Hector Crescencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hermínio Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson de Amorim in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Contos Gauchescos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Enéas Cavalcante hit a great ball. Hector Crescencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alisson De Gasperi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Zhen Kun in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Crescencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shi Zhen Kun scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Crescencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alisson De Gasperi to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Contos Gauchescos booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Moscardó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magno Faria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MAZER SAF's Hermínio Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson de Amorim in the 54th minute of play. Saturnino Osoro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes of play, MAZER SAF's Lei Hui Le made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Crescencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermínio Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Faria in the 62nd minute of the match. Hermínio Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Faria in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Osoro during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Contos Gauchescos got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Osoro. Hermínio Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Faria in the 70th minute of the match. MAZER SAF's Alisson De Gasperi got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Faria came free, but Hermínio Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Contos Gauchescos's Raymond Naets nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermínio Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Faria in the 90th minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Hermínio Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Colon scored 2-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermínio Eger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The MAZER SAF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MAZER SAF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
