An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Tavares in the 13th minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durvalino Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilian Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Durvalino Vinhas ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, Ebla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Vinhas came free, but Wilian Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Tavares in the 29th minute of play. Durvalino Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Wilian Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibis Football Club. Dieguinho Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Acácio Vasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Dieguinho Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Acácio Vasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Vinhas in the 37th minute of play forced Ebla FC's goalkeeper Wilian Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Vasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ibis Football Club getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sydney Tepedino hit a great ball. Durvalino Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acácio Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Massa in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Durvalino Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. Richard Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Acácio Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo da Mata didn't quite understand what happened when in the 71 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Durvalino Vinhas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match.
