Contos Gauchescos's Hector Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Pernambucano in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Faria in the 4th minute of play forced Rota66's goalkeeper Eugênio Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugênio Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Faria's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Edmílson de Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugênio Loureiro. Rota66's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson de Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eugênio Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Faria in the 12th minute of the match. Hector Crescencio was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Elder Mazza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elder Mazza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 22ndth minute of the game Edmílson de Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rota66's Eugênio Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Hector Crescencio managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Rota66's Dé Pernambucano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hector Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Rota66's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson de Amorim came free, but Eugênio Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Rota66 got a freekick which was hit by Vitório do Nascimento. Magno Faria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugênio Loureiro. Rota66's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Edmílson de Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rota66's Eugênio Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Rota66's Elder Mazza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hector Crescencio. Hector Crescencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dé Pernambucano made a kick off. Enéas Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Eugênio Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Faria's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Edmílson de Amorim hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Contos Gauchescos's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Mazza came free, but Hector Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Guilherme Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Pernambucano in the 67th minute of play forced Contos Gauchescos's goalkeeper Hector Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magno Faria got free with Eugênio Loureiro in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Contos Gauchescos's Marquinhos Paulista got a free kick in the 71st minute. Contos Gauchescos's Hector Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Mazza in the 73rd minute of play. If Magno Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rota66 made a substitution. Vladimir Branco replaced 乔建迅. With his leg Eugênio Loureiro managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Contos Gauchescos's Magno Faria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hector Crescencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dé Pernambucano went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Sergiu Gugulanu fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rota66's protests and gave Sergiu Gugulanu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Contos Gauchescos booed when Rota66 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Gugulanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Edmílson de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magno Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eugênio Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Contos Gauchescos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
