Edu Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edu Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Seedorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the S.E YAGOSHOW defense, Alex Seedorf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edu Reis. The S.E YAGOSHOW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edu Reis should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Cezary Przybylo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Proteu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 21st minute, Hamílton Berger made a precise shot to the right of Edu Reis. S.E YAGOSHOW's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. S.E YAGOSHOW's Edu Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Berger in the 28th minute of play. Edu Reis came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Proteu's Denílson Tepedino. But to his dismay, Denílson Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 35th minute, Hamílton Berger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Proteu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. S.E YAGOSHOW's Edu Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu de Castro in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Denílson Tepedino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edu Reis. S.E YAGOSHOW's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denílson Tepedino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Hamílton Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the S.E YAGOSHOW defense, Hamílton Berger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edu Reis. The S.E YAGOSHOW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edu Reis should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alex Seedorf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Edu Reis made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Seedorf got free with Edu Reis in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Proteu's Hamílton Berger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edu Reis. Edu Reis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. 76 minutes into the match, Proteu's Hamílton Berger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edu Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Proteu's Denílson Tepedino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. 83 minutes into the match, S.E YAGOSHOW's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Berger came free, but Edu Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.E YAGOSHOW's Benedito Travassos got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a little luck, S.E YAGOSHOW's Edu Reis got control of the ball when Hamílton Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedito Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedito Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Benedito Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edu Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Seedorf in the 91st minute. Denílson Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Edu Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
