When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Juninho Godoi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Abelardo Breckenfeld to make any attempt to save it. When Leonard Söderqvist fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C VinnyRJ's protests and gave Leonard Söderqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Ulysses Vander came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's Matías Castro. But to his dismay, Matías Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dário Ferraz made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Kjell Vestberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Breckenfeld was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Morgan Sjöö sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veríssimo Dantas got free with Ulysses Vander in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th match minute, E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson de Castro to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Georgi Kakalov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Vestberg in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's Parto Canelas got a free kick in the 90th minute. E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
