Jeferson Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 6th match minute, União dos 7 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elija Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Mergildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Marcus de Godoi made a huge save. União dos 7 FC's Marcus de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save União dos 7 FC from getting a goal against them. Mauro Mergildo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Marcus de Godoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Telmo Tande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamatis Belevonis's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Wilton Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marcus de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Mergildo came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus de Godoi could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stamatis Belevonis in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th of the match, Wilton Valladares tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Marcus de Godoi got in the way and made a wonderful save. Mauro Mergildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Marcus de Godoi made a huge save. Elija Lobo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elija Lobo ran back to his position shaking his head. Telmo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elija Lobo in the 41st minute of play.
After some careless play in the União dos 7 FC defense, Dagoberto Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus de Godoi. The União dos 7 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus de Godoi should have stopped the shot. The ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s Mauro Mergildo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcus de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Mergildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Chiquinho Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the União dos 7 FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
