João Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Sjöö in the 4th minute of the match. João Couto came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's Matías Castro. But to his dismay, Matías Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Durval Nunes got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lúcio Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Breckenfeld having to interfere. 26 minutes in the game, Matías Castro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. João Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morgan Sjöö went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Juarês Domingues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Abelardo Breckenfeld when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Juarês Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abelardo Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Domingues in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's Alessandro Linhares got a free kick in the 37th minute. Veríssimo Dantas took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Couto. João Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. João Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veríssimo Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Franklin Linhares hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lúcio Munhoz to make the kick off. Matías Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. João Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lúcio Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Morgan Sjöö made a precise shot to the right of João Couto. Brazil Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 69 minutes into the game, E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's Morgan Sjöö nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After 74 played minutes Brazil Academy got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Linhares. 76 minutes into the match, Matías Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Couto. Brazil Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Matías Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but João Couto made a huge save. Brazil Academy's João Couto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Brazil Academy from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Morgan Sjöö ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. With a little luck, Brazil Academy's João Couto got control of the ball when Matías Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Franklin Linhares got a free kick in the 90th minute. Brazil Academy's attentive Benjamin Messias managed to snatch the ball when Alessandro Linhares made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game.
