Spectators: 6453 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Germano Vander kicked off to start the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Germano Vander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brazil Academy's João Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Dieguinho Valadares got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Domingues in the 13th minute of play forced ITAMARATY's goalkeeper Vladimír Veleta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Couto came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by ITAMARATY's Germano Vander. But to his dismay, Germano Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luisinho de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. João Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimír Veleta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, ITAMARATY's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Domingues came free, but Vladimír Veleta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juarês Domingues in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimír Veleta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. José Paulo Loureiro hit a great ball. João Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brazil Academy's João Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Vander in the 37th minute of play. When ITAMARATY's Germano Vander in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brazil Academy's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Germano Vander in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Franklin Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When ITAMARATY's Germano Vander in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gildo Braga during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lúcio Munhoz made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes ITAMARATY got a freekick which was hit by Germano Vander. Juarês Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimír Veleta having to make a save. Vladimír Veleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Domingues in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind ITAMARATY's goalkeeper Vladimír Veleta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Lúcio Munhoz got a free kick in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Leonel Madureira put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of João Couto. Brazil Academy's Juarês Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juarês Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimír Veleta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juarês Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. Juarês Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Vladimír Veleta made a huge save. João Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Vander in the 80th minute of the match. When Lúcio Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brazil Academy's protests and gave Lúcio Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. Lúcio Munhoz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Juarês Domingues, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vladimír Veleta was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Munhoz in the 94th minute of play forced ITAMARATY's goalkeeper Vladimír Veleta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brazil Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
