Spectators: 7717 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Salgado started the match with the kick off. Josué Viana shot from long distance after 8 played minutes, a shot that Roger de Lara with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Eusébio Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Dráuzio Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Jacaresinho V.T.'s Julian Bejrut got control of the ball when Dráuzio Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Dráuzio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caravelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Dráuzio Loureiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julian Bejrut. The goal made the score 1-0. Julian Bejrut was a little too slow when Dráuzio Loureiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. With his leg Julian Bejrut managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Caravelas FC's Arjen Robben fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th minute Tales Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tales Brasil scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger de Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the game, Ramiro Reynardo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jacaresinho V.T.'s Tales Brasil quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 44 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Bejrut. Jacaresinho V.T.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dráuzio Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Loureiro was the one to do the kick off. Julian Bejrut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Julian Bejrut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Caravelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Salgado came free, but Roger de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacaresinho V.T.'s Severino Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Bejrut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Loureiro in the 64th minute of play. In the last second Roger de Lara throw himself and got hold of the ball when Josué Viana in the 69thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Caravelas FC booed when Jacaresinho V.T. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráuzio Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Brasil in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Caravelas FC's Dráuzio Loureiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Bejrut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caravelas FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Jacaresinho V.T.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arjen Robben took the corner. When Caravelas FC's Dráuzio Loureiro in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jacaresinho V.T.'s goalie prevented a goal. Julian Bejrut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Loureiro in the 89th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jacaresinho V.T. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caravelas FC.
