Spectators: 7710 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. William Godoi started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s Basílio Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Caravelas FC defense, William Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger de Lara. The Caravelas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger de Lara should have stopped the shot. After 9 minutes of play, Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s Ariel Santo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger de Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Fernando Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabinho Carneiro having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico Pena during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tigre Brasilis F.C. booed when Caravelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caravelas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William Godoi was slow to take the kick. During this time Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in William Godoi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caravelas FC's Roger de Lara did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Godoi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger de Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basílio Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Roger de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Godoi in the 28th minute of play forced Caravelas FC's goalkeeper Roger de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Godoi in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger de Lara saved Caravelas FC from getting behind. If William Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Caravelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Nico Pena. In the 38th minute João Vítor Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by William Godoi in the 39th minute. The corner led Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s William Godoi to fire away a dangerous shot which Roger de Lara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Marcelo Coutinho put in a rough tackle. William Godoi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. The wind increased when Robinho Amaral made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as João Vítor Faria kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roger de Lara. That made the score 0-6 in the 51 minute of play. Romário Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Josh Mikaelsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caravelas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigre Brasilis F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Caravelas FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Josh Mikaelsen hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Romário Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger de Lara. Caravelas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romário Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. William Godoi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Roger de Lara 65 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Caravelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Pena to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes Caravelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Moraes. Caravelas FC's Roger de Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Caravelas FC from getting a goal against them. Romário Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Nico Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, William Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
