When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ezequiel Andrade sped through Tere's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cauã Faria. 14 minutes into the game, Manituba's Cristóvão Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cauã Faria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Tere getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Yan Botelho hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Arlindo de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Clóvis de Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauã Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 24 minutes into the game, Juninho Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manituba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tere the free kick. Juninho Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, one of Tere:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Juninho Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manituba's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauã Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juninho Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cauã Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes of play, Manituba's Caco Batista made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauã Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ezequiel Andrade put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Cauã Faria. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cauã Faria was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. With a little luck, Manituba's Pedro Augusto Pinho got control of the ball when Fernandão Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Manituba were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Manituba's Ezequiel Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cauã Faria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tere defense, Ezequiel Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cauã Faria. The Tere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cauã Faria should have stopped the shot. After 60 minutes of play, Manituba's Alois Cambuquira made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauã Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cauã Faria was a little too slow when Juninho Albuquerque got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-10. Fernandão Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Valério de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Arlindo de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Manituba defense, Fernandão Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Augusto Pinho. The Manituba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Augusto Pinho should have stopped the shot. Cauã Faria was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Cristóvão Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristóvão Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-11. Cauã Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Caco Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-12. Cauã Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes in the game, Juninho Albuquerque fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cauã Faria having to interfere. Cauã Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Andrade went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-13 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Juninho Albuquerque put it in 1-14 from a short distance just to the right of Cauã Faria. When the final whistle sounded Manituba left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tere.
