In the 12th minute, Bengt Bouchard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Bejrut was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Bengt Bouchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Julian Bejrut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Brasil in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Fetor saved FÊNIX F.C. from getting behind. The Jacaresinho V.T. fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Jacaresinho V.T.'s Tales Brasil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Bouchard got free with Julian Bejrut in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Bejrut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Jacaresinho V.T.'s goalkeeper Julian Bejrut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Paulo Prata. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jacaresinho V.T.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marquinhos Teixeira was slow to take the kick. During this time FÊNIX F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. When Severino Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Jacaresinho V.T. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Salgado couldn't finish the play. Bengt Bouchard in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julian Bejrut, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Severino Salgado made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Bengt Bouchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacaresinho V.T.'s Julian Bejrut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Bengt Bouchard notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Jacaresinho V.T.'s Julian Bejrut. Julian Bejrut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FÊNIX F.C. made a substitution. Valério Zonta replaced Tiago Gabriel Damião. Julian Bejrut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Bengt Bouchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Bejrut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcinho Arce's late challenge caught a Jacaresinho V.T.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
