Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Valério de Alcântara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Yeferson Soteldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Cauã Faria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 7 minutes into the match, Sagatyba Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandão Quintal came free, but Luizão Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Camilo Torrealba came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Sagatyba Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Torrealba couldn't finish the play. If Camilo Torrealba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Luizão Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério de Alcântara in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Valério de Alcântara notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Luizão Rezende. Luizão Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Tere defense, Camilo Torrealba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cauã Faria. The Tere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cauã Faria should have stopped the shot. When Tere's Fernandão Quintal in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sagatyba Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20th minute, Dedê Alvarenga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 24th minute, Dedê Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Camilo Torrealba made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauã Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luizão Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Sagatyba Esporte Clube booed when Tere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandão Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Fernandão Quintal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Luizão Rezende. Luizão Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Camilo Torrealba could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Cauã Faria however easily saved by the left post. Tere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when David Ramalho scored to the left of an out of position Cauã Faria, making the score, 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yeferson Soteldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Dedê Alvarenga sped through Tere's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cauã Faria. Cauã Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yeferson Soteldo in the 57th minute of the match. Cauã Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Torrealba in the 60th minute of play. Cauã Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yeferson Soteldo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Tere booed when Sagatyba Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wambasther Cavani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Torrealba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Wambasther Cavani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sagatyba Esporte Clube made a substitution. Adhemar Galvão replaced Dedê Alvarenga. Cauã Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yeferson Soteldo in the 83rd minute of play. Tere's Valério de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cauã Faria came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Franklin Araújo. But to his dismay, Franklin Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Sagatyba Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
