Nando Trigo made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Romário Faria however managed to control. With his leg Fabinho Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Corinthians's Elpidio Espiridion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elpidio Espiridions short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Fabinho Carneiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 6th minute of the match, Elpidio Espiridion got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabinho Carneiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Corinthians were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rudolf Speed took the corner. After a rather tough play, Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s João Vítor Faria got a free kick in the 16th minute. Rudolf Speed might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabinho Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolf Speed ran back to his position shaking his head. Elpidio Espiridion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabinho Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rudolf Speed was slow to take the kick. During this time Corinthians's players had a chance to rest. Elpidio Espiridion was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Espiridion got free with Fabinho Carneiro in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabinho Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Espiridion in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Corinthians's Elpidio Espiridion ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabinho Carneiro. Fabinho Carneiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s Fabinho Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Tigre Brasilis F.C. from getting a goal against them. Fabinho Carneiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elpidio Espiridion showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Espiridion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabinho Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Espiridion in the 51st minute of play. Fabinho Carneiro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Corinthians's Elpidio Espiridion shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by González Speed in the 57th minute of play forced Tigre Brasilis F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabinho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robinho Koehler couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Espiridion in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabinho Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Elpidio Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Corinthians's Elpidio Espiridion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabinho Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaime Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Faria in the 76th minute of play. Fabinho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Natã Pirani managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Vítor Ramos in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabinho Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
