Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hélio Damião started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Pimenta in the 3rd minute of play forced Acarahu EC's goalkeeper Dênis Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Gabirel Jesus put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dênis Prestes. Dênis Prestes came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by AÇAÍ SA's Gabirel Jesus. But to his dismay, Gabirel Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dênis Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabirel Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes of play, AÇAÍ SA's Gorka Jordo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dênis Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Trevisan's late challenge caught a AÇAÍ SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Trevisan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Acarahu EC's Cristian Trevisan got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes, Gabirel Jesus made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Acarahu EC's Dênis Prestes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Acarahu EC's Dênis Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabirel Jesus in the 23rd minute of play. Gorka Jordo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dênis Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabirel Jesus went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Gabirel Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. AÇAÍ SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabirel Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dênis Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, AÇAÍ SA's Luís Gustavo Pimenta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dênis Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. When Luís Gustavo Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the AÇAÍ SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Pimenta couldn't finish the play. Romeu Gaúcho charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeu Gaúcho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Acarahu EC got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Gaúcho. 40 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Pimenta notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Acarahu EC's Dênis Prestes. Dênis Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The AÇAÍ SA fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when AÇAÍ SA's Luís Gustavo Pimenta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 47 minutes into the match, AÇAÍ SA's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Brugmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélio Damião. Hélio Damião received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans came out and tried to block the shot, but Hélio Damião slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 47th minute. The Acarahu EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AÇAÍ SA were winning 1-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabirel Jesus to make the kick off. Gabirel Jesus succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-9. Luís Gustavo Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Prestes having to interfere. Dênis Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabirel Jesus in the 65th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Pimenta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dênis Prestes firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 70th minute, Gabirel Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, Acarahu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Meira to maneuver through the defense. Dênis Prestes was a little too slow when Rodrigo Hermes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-12. After a defensive mix-up in Acarahu EC's zone, Gorka Jordo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Prestes came out of the goal and Gorka Jordo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Ian Souto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AÇAÍ SA and the Acarahu EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of AÇAÍ SA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Acarahu EC:s goal. In the 90th minute, AÇAÍ SA's Gabirel Jesus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-14. In the 94th minute Gabirel Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match, Luís Gustavo Pimenta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dênis Prestes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 95th play minute Gabirel Jesus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dênis Prestes. 2-15. Acarahu EC's Dênis Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Acarahu EC from getting a goal against them. Dênis Prestes made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Gabirel Jesus sent off a good shot on target. The Acarahu EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AÇAÍ SA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
