After some careless play in the Acarahu EC defense, Reginaldo da Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dênis Prestes. The Acarahu EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dênis Prestes should have stopped the shot. Hélio Damião took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Freitas. Dráuzio Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reginaldo da Silveira got free with Dênis Prestes in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SOMBRA DE TERROR's Dráuzio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Damião in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Marques in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dênis Prestes saved Acarahu EC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério de Amaral in the 29th minute of play forced Acarahu EC's goalkeeper Dênis Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Reginaldo da Silveira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dênis Prestes, 2-1. SOMBRA DE TERROR's Dráuzio Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Damião in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SOMBRA DE TERROR's Valério de Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dênis Prestes. That made the score 3-1 after 37 minutes of play. Dito Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Acarahu EC's Dênis Prestes got control of the ball when Reginaldo da Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reginaldo da Silveira scored 4-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dênis Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Marques made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Rafael Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dênis Prestes was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Gildo Baiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dênis Prestes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dênis Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Dráuzio Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélio Damião in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Acarahu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo da Silveira came free, but Dênis Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SOMBRA DE TERROR's zone, Hélio Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráuzio Freitas came out of the goal and Hélio Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acarahu EC's Dito Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Rafael Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acarahu EC's Dênis Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélio Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Dito Ferraz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dráuzio Freitas. That made the score 5-2 in the 79 minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Hélio Damião notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of SOMBRA DE TERROR's Dráuzio Freitas. Dráuzio Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dênis Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Marques in the 86th minute of play. SOMBRA DE TERROR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gildo Baiano in the 88th minute. SOMBRA DE TERROR's Gildo Baiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dênis Prestes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Dito Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes SOMBRA DE TERROR got a freekick which was hit by Valério de Amaral. In the 95th minute, Dito Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SOMBRA DE TERROR fans cheered their team off the field, for while Acarahu EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
