It was a well-played corner which Dedé Salles managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Acarahu EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Leonel Seco scored to the left of an out of position Dênis Prestes, making the score, 2-0. Acarahu EC's Dênis Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Seco in the 14th minute of play. Dênis Prestes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin Brereton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 17 minute of play. Dênis Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Seco in the 25th minute of play. Dênis Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dedé Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Prestes having to interfere. Dênis Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dênis Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis Prestes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when A. A. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Brereton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dênis Prestes was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Benjamin Brereton made a precise shot to the right of Dênis Prestes. Acarahu EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0.
