Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Allan Delon started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabirel Jesus in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Nóbrega saved Fogo Quente from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, AÇAÍ SA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Alves came free, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Gustavo Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Pimenta in the 9th minute of play forced Fogo Quente's goalkeeper Pedro Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabirel Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gabirel Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AÇAÍ SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabirel Jesus couldn't finish the play. Pedro Augusto Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans made a huge save. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Alves in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AÇAÍ SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fogo Quente the free kick. A collision led to AÇAÍ SA getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Pimenta hit a great ball. If Luís Gustavo Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Alves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Augusto Alves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, AÇAÍ SA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Alves came free, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Fogo Quente defense, Gabirel Jesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Nóbrega. The Fogo Quente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. Pedro Augusto Alves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Hendrik-Jan Brugmans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allan Delon went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gabirel Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Nóbrega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fogo Quente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Caetano Eger was slow to take the kick. During this time AÇAÍ SA's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Aquiles Papo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabirel Jesus to make the kick off. Gabirel Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Egoi Caminero charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egoi Caminero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egoi Caminero hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, AÇAÍ SA's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Delon came free, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Gabirel Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AÇAÍ SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabirel Jesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, AÇAÍ SA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Alves came free, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Fogo Quente's Pedro Augusto Alves. But to his dismay, Pedro Augusto Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Pedro Nóbrega was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Luís Gustavo Pimenta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Gustavo Pimenta really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 74th minute Pedro Augusto Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Brugmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luís Gustavo Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the AÇAÍ SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Pimenta couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, AÇAÍ SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byrne McLaughlin to maneuver through the defense. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AÇAÍ SA were furious when Byrne McLaughlin was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 83 minutes into the game, one of AÇAÍ SA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans went to the wrong direction when Norberto Guimarães was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fogo Quente's zone, Gabirel Jesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Nóbrega came out of the goal and Gabirel Jesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gabirel Jesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Nóbrega was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 91st match minute, Fogo Quente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro Maia to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th match minute, AÇAÍ SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Eger to maneuver through the defense. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Alves in the 100th minute of play.
