Claudinei Queiroz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 2nd minute. BENACHIOS F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thor Grøtting could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Pedro Nóbrega made a huge save. Thor Grøtting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pedro Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thor Grøtting's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Nóbrega firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pedro Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, BENACHIOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Dionísio came free, but Zé Carlos Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Fogo Quente got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Baptista. Claudinei Queiroz scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Nóbrega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Tepedino in the 32nd minute of play forced Fogo Quente's goalkeeper Pedro Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fogo Quente booed when BENACHIOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thor Grøtting didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Delon to make the kick off. Zé Carlos Luz made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Allan Delon sent off a good shot on target. Thor Grøtting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Nóbrega having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Fogo Quente got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Meirelles. After 59 played minutes BENACHIOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Borges. In the 64th match minute, BENACHIOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Zé Carlos Luz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by BENACHIOS F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norberto Guimarães was slow to take the kick. During this time Fogo Quente's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Grøtting in the 76th minute of play. If Allan Delon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Allan Delon came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Fogo Quente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Delon couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, BENACHIOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 龙冰政 to maneuver through the defense. BENACHIOS F.C's Zé Carlos Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Guimarães in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Queiroz in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BENACHIOS F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fogo Quente for a fine match.
