But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Lucas couldn't finish the play. Akın Seccac might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adami F.C.'s Téo Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adami F.C.'s Téo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akın Seccac in the 57th minute of play. Jacinto Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Marília AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
