Karl Kaaaas hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Jeremias Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubens Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Revuelta's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Filomeno Revuelta put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rubens Vale. In the 10th minute Túlio Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Palestrinos F.C's Túlio Veiga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Itaretama's Rubens Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Moreira in the 13th minute of play. After 17 minutes Itaretama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Percy Pires who took care of the corner kick. After 19 minutes, Juvenal Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itaretama and the Palestrinos F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Itaretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Tao Si Feng struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Rubens Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaretama. A collision led to Palestrinos F.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Christian Saldanha hit a great ball. When Tao Si Feng came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Itaretama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tao Si Feng couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Itaretama's Rubens Moura got control of the ball when Jeremias Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubens Moura made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Filipe Braga sent off a good shot on target. Rubens Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Braga in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Braga got free with Rubens Moura in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Filipe Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Jeremias Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Itaretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Palestrinos F.C's Percy Pires shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rubens Moura but with some difficulty. Rubens Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Revuelta in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Revuelta in the 53rd minute of play forced Palestrinos F.C's goalkeeper Rubens Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 played minutes Palestrinos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Percy Pires. After some careless play in the Palestrinos F.C defense, Tao Si Feng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubens Vale. The Palestrinos F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubens Vale should have stopped the shot. Palestrinos F.C's Filipe Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Tao Si Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaretama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tao Si Feng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubens Vale made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Filomeno Revuelta sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Veiga in the 76th minute of play forced Itaretama's goalkeeper Rubens Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Karl Kaaaas from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Rubens Vale's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 91 minutes into the match, Itaretama's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Moreira came free, but Rubens Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubens Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Revuelta in the 92nd minute of the match. Filomeno Revuelta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Rubens Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
