Percy Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Pombal having to interfere. Elias Pombal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Palestrinos F.C's Jeremias Moreira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 17th minute, Túlio Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestrinos F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Laerte Paes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jeremias Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Palestrinos F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Moreira couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Jeremias Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestrinos F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Elias Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Veiga in the 47th minute of play. Artur Bezerra's late challenge caught a Palestrinos F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Biriguy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Palestrinos F.C were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Palestrinos F.C's Jeremias Moreira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Palestrinos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Braga to maneuver through the defense. Túlio Veiga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Palestrinos F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Elias Pombal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Moreira went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. After 81 minutes, Percy Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestrinos F.C and the Biriguy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Biriguy got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Monteiro. 83 minutes into the match, Túlio Veiga notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Biriguy's Elias Pombal. Elias Pombal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elias Pombal made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Jeremias Moreira sent off a good shot on target. After 89 played minutes Biriguy got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Dracena. Jeremias Moreira in the 99thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elias Pombal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the final whistle sounded Palestrinos F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Biriguy.
