When Gláuber Senna came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Só de Fula F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Senna couldn't finish the play. When Leonardo Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Só de Fula F.C.'s protests and gave Leonardo Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Barreto hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Willian Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Guto Neves made a huge save. Willian Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guto Neves having to make a save. Elias Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson Luz in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Biriguy booed when Só de Fula F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Só de Fula F.C.! Elias Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian de Moraes in the 29th minute of play. But to his dismay, Artur Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 75 minutes into the match, Biriguy's goalkeeper Elias Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willian de Moraes. Biriguy's Clóvis Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Só de Fula F.C.'s Guto Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Dracena in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 minutes, Dorian Dracena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Biriguy and the Só de Fula F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elias Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Biriguy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Só de Fula F.C. for a fine match.
